Welcome, I'm Lynda. I am really glad you are here.
With my SOS Self-Care Method I help strong, sensitive souls realign their lives so they can thrive.
Self-care is our ability to nurture ourselves, to tend our lives so we're vital and whole. It's living a constantly evolving awareness of you. Growing your life with the decisions you make and the actions you take every day. Growing... Not forcing or pushing.
SOS Self-careis learning to draw on our natural connections with self, others and surrounds (SOS) to structure and sustain our self-care. . We want these connections, they are the secret to our vitality, the pathway to real self-care.
We are natural, which we sometimes forget, human animals and part of the whole. When we understand how beautifully life is woven together it helps us more easily look after ourselves.
My Approach
We become your self-care team. One you can rely on to be there, especially when things get tough. We explore the essentials of self-care. How to connect with, and receive support from, self, others and surrounds.
We uncover stepping stones. The ways to go from where you are to where you want to be.
You plant seeds of self-care You learn how simply and gently you can begin.
We help your new life grow. Tending, mending and nurturing your new self-care landscape.
And, anytime you feel stuck, send an SOS! We will untangle the knots, unravel unnecessary stories, behaviours and beliefs so you can move forward knowing what you want and how to stay connected.
There is magic in being supported in this way. You are never alone. You have someone ready to help, celebrate and support you who understands the web and weave of your life.
You Can Discover Simpler, easier ways to live that feel more authentic. Practical skills and tools to help yourself - whatever you are going through. How to take action that nurtures and supports you. What to do when life happens (the highs and the lows).
You Can Feel Plugged into life, supported by it instead of alone or disconnected. Stronger and more sure of who you are and what you need. Safe, stable and able to change. Resilient and hopeful regardless of what is happening.
What Clients Say
"It is possible and it's truly worth it!" Renae M, Brisbane Australia I've been thinking about the things you have taught me & I'm so grateful of your help when I was incredibly lost. The biggest thing is that I learned to appreciate me for me & I cannot thank you enough for encouraging that. Anastasia K, Brisbane Australia
For someone like me who was brought up to deal with life and its problems single handedly and with relatively hidden emotions you first of all provided a safe space which helped me reassure myself that I had permission to open up and be honest. Anna K, Edinburgh, Scotland
"It's working!! Thank you Lynda, you saved me at a time when I was drowning by the quantity of what I needed to make sense of and complete. Your holistic, intuitive and seasonal approach makes sense to me and is so much easier to apply than anything else I've tried to use to help my time and life management. What I didn't expect was how fun and enjoyable creating my personalised plan and putting it into action would be. When I wander from my direction I just come back to what we implemented, simple." Kirsten F, Melbourne, Australia
Would You Like to Explore Self-Care?
If the timing feels right, I'd love to speak with you. We can meet in person, in Brisbane (Meeanjin), or via voice or video call.
You can share your story, and get to know me. We will look at possibilities, consider if together, we can help you become more of who you are?
This is a small step to learn more. There is no charge for our conversation.
Once we have spoken, you take time to digest. It's like planting a seed, you need time to see if it's ready to grow. If yes we reconnect, if not, we let it go.
We do not force working together. We want to go with life, not against it.
I support everyone to becoming more of who they truly are. We are all beautiful, unique and welcome. And we deserve to be supported, always and in all ways.
I acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of Australia and the traditional custodians of the country on which I live. I pay my respect to elders past, present and emerging. I acknowledge their wisdom, richness of culture and practices which embody vitality and harmony with land. This land, this earth, sustains us.
